About light

A new project entitled L.I.G.H.T. began to stir the heart of Ruth L. Griffin, the founder in 2013.

The network of singers, musicians would now give back, to the community, what they have experienced to empower our youth in the musical arena. 

December 15, 2013 L.I.G.H.T. was launched.

What Light Does

 L.I.G.H.T. Educates – in a resource center, a place to practice, grow and flourish. We provide instruments, as well as, supportive materials that will assist the artist to develop their talent.
L.I.G.H.T. Equips – how to use one’s instrument, one on one, or in a group setting.  

L.I.G.H.T. Extends & Links – artist with a professional team to bring a mix. Receiving tips from the experts and practicing with experienced musicians is the best way to learn.

L.I.G.H.T. Excels in the community – providing workshops, jam sessions, showcases and benefit concerts for the artists involvement. Keeping the mind occupied, while developing skill is progressive, an empowering for artist zenith.
